It can be unsettling while it&#39;s happening. One time a big ole windstorm pick the roof off the top of a church and set it down neat as you please in the middle of the street. Wasn&#39;t a tornado--just big wind. Bet some people were doing a naked dance that night. Probably kind of embarrassing when you think about it, it being a church and all. ;-)<br /><br />Sorry about the gate and gargoyle, but at least you got rid of that very attractive trampoline. I trust you found Angus. :-)<br /><br />BTW, we have big pecan trees that are always &quot;self-pruning&quot; in big wind, so I don&#39;t go out there when I hear loud noises, figuring I&#39;ll just check out the damage in the morning. I&#39;m not keen to get hit on the head by falling limbs. Just fabulous looking. Short of offering finch sized scuba outfits that stuff is off limits now. <br /><br />But. Clearly it could have been much worse damage, wind wise.
