Oh, y'all are so funny!!! I LOVE Twitty, but I'm sticking with Gertrude. The piano is clearly a "she," if you know what I mean. She's rather old and stately.

Yes, we are taking lessons for sure. My friend Carolyn is gonna get me started, then on to official lessons when we get home. weeeee.

MerryMerry gives good advice. If you DO take lessons you will learn and if you do NOT take lessons you will mess about and not learn. So there..I didn't think like this when I was young but now that I'm not, I can see.

Oh, that is just so fabulous to have those kind of friends (and free labor) that would part with that wonderful piano. It is just lovely and you and Finn will be so happy you have it, My advise: Take piano lessons.
Usually once a week lesson for 30 minutes and it is worth it, believe me. If you don't want to be in the recital be sure to tell your teacher ahead of time.

My friend, Kathleen, started playing recently. She's been taking lessons for awhile now, but her son, Carter started before she did and he loves it. I think that's what inspired her to learn. She's one of the biggest music-lovers I know and her husband may be the biggest, so maybe it's in the blood.
