Ugh.

I am writing this from my bed where I have been sequestered for the last gazillion hours.

I have the flu.

Chills, aches, pains, crying, sad flu.

Death would be a relief.

I cannot even remember the last time i had the flu.

Boo hoo.

My boys are taking great care of me, so not to worry.

Finnigan is especially cute as he totally mimics the way I take care of him.

(Apparently I am very sweet and helpful.)

I'll catch you in a few, y'all.

  1. I am SO sorry you are ill.
Drink lots of liquids, take aspirin and rest.
    I love you.

  2. Oh dear, summer flu is the WORST. But you have an excellent bedside selection of distractions there, just waiting for when you feel like doing "something" but nothing too much. Get well soon!

  3. Such a good time to rest and read even if you feel really horrible. I hope you get better very soon, but/and take advantage of your sweet family and let them help. It's good for them!

  6. Finnigan is most definitely a keeper. A rotten awful shame you're under the weather, lady, but don't you fuss about we webby types. We'll all be waiting right here when you are feeling back up to snuff and posting again. Wishing warmth and comfort and a steady climb back to health and strength to you.

  11. Oh no!!! I hope your little one helps you to feel better soon. Being sick when it's warm out is the most terrible thing ever. Everyone is out enjoying the sunshine and laughing, and you just wish they would trip and fall on their happy faces because you feel miserable and are stuck under blankets.
