Weekending Late (again)

Sheesh.

Total slacker.

Guilty as charged.

I'm regaling you with lots o' photos today because I'm feeling mute-ish (miracle).

We had such a fun-filled, busy weekend and we're leaving tomorrow morning for a post-birthday trip so this is all I can manage.

I'll see you back here on Fridee with two recipes for Friday Food.

I just have to add here that Jackdaddy built Finnigan the most insanely great zipline this weekend.  It goes across the yard with final landing on the trampoline.

Utter shitbombness.

PS  I wanna send out a hearty, giddy, delighted  WELCOME to my new "sister" Sadie.  My mama went to the shelter yesterday and came home with a little girl dog!!!!  Sadie ... isn't that the sweetest name ever?  I can't wait to meet her!!!

  4. A zipline?

For fuckssake. Your house has got to be the most fun and enjoyable space around.

I'd vacation at your house - as long as the Little Man shares his new zip line.

(While I was looking at the last picture I thought "He looks like he's on a zip line - NAWWW!" Then I read the caption. WabiSabi for the win.

  6. Can I ask you a couple gardening questions? Do you have screens hanging off your pipe/pvc frames on your raised bed? Did it work? Also, what's growing in there - it's so lush!! I've been hesitant to pull my plants outta the greenhouse because of all our weird weather. But yours look like they're doing fine! And what's the pink blossom?

The zip line sounds SOOOO awesome!

    1. Hey lady!

Yes, I have deer fabric attached to the pvc pipe with zip ties. Yep, they work GREAT.
Oh gosh, that's just all my bolted cilantro and broccoli. I let it all go to seed for the pollinators.

Pink blossom is my peach tree that rarely makes peaches. sigh.

  7. Hey, I think we have your cat's sister?/brother? We have this feral cat that comes around that my grand kids have been feeding on our patio. They named him Stumpy. Looks just like the one in the photo. He makes the indoor cats go nuts when he comes around.

  8. I will have to see if he will stick around long enough to take a pic and post on my facebook. I know cats can travel but don't know if they would go that far. I live up around wooten.
