Happy #14

These are some of the little things that end up in my apron pockets when I tidy the house. (I decided not to photograph the large wad of old crumbs.) It makes me happy when I put my apron on, and discover a pocketful of such trinkets. Sweet little reminders of my sweet little life.
Hope your apron pockets are full of happiness today too!

  1. I have gum, crumbs and kleenex. Not very exciting BUT I have a fresh junk drawer. When mine blew away I didn't really know if I'd ever have another.

  2. Awww, your poor blown away junk drawer. sigh. My Daddy had the BEST junk drawer ever. I so wish I had a picture of it. xoxo

  3. I like finding the treasures too on Monday morning after a busy weekend. This morning it was cicada shells and a lot of wet towels! I'm the mom of two teenagers :-) so wet towels are usually plentiful!

  4. I know we complain about all the picking up we do after kids (and in my case, Grands), but thank god we have the kids to pick up after! It is a magical thing!

  5. I hope you never run with sissors in your pocket. Your teacher will put you in "Time Out."

  6. I checked out your posts today while our server was down. I love love that backsplash. My kitchen is so boring compared to yours. The apron thing kills me. I love the ritual clearing out too. Amazing what you can find. And it's sort of like the diary of the day. I do hate it when I forget to pull out the seeds I stuffed in my pocket and they dribble all over the dryer.
